Color Based off of referencing other maki-e works we think that this design features "maple leaves". The pen has gold plated trim and the artist's signature.
Nib BROAD 18k nib, according to the kanji character on the nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a slim, shiny pen with a lovely design of maple leaves on the cap and barrel in gold and red. The cap and barrel have some light microscratching. All the gold trim pieces (end of barrel, cap band, and trim around the black center of the clip) have light microscratching and polishing marks. The imprints are clear.
