Color Simply called, "Black," this pen is black stained sheepskin over recycled aluminum. It has gold colored trim and the barrel and clip are reminiscent of 70s era Japanese pens. It has a plastic section.
Nib Medium 14k nib. Japanese fines and mediums run finer than the Western nibs.
Condition Excellent, really lovely condition. This is a beautiful pen with an unusual finish. The leather surface is quite good, with just a few small spots where the outer layer has been nicked off. The nib has some surface scratches near the tipping. The section has scratches consistent with capping. The clip has tiny dots of pitting. The cap band and clutch ring both have tiny spots of plating wear. The cap and barrel "jewels", which are small discs of leather, both look fantastic.
