Type Handmade fountain pen in epoxy resin
Product Name Special "Z2" edition of the Zayante .... a bit shorter and with an upgraded clip. The major differences are as follows:
- Slightly shorter
- Better cap posting
- Fewer turns to cap and uncap (around 3/4 of a complete turn, versus almost 3 on the original Zayante)
- Deluxe antiqued clips in 3 different colors/finishes
The Special Edition Zayante is 5-1/4" in length (as opposed to 5-1/2" for the original Zayante). Posted they are a little over 6-1/2" versus 6-7/8", so the Special Edition posts more deeply and results in a better balanced pen posted.

Filling System International style cartridges and converters. The pen has been configured to accept a screw-in German nib unit (JoWo #6) which works with international style cartridges and converters. A converter will be included. In addition, the converter can be removed so that you can use the pen as an eyedropper.
Color We have these in four different colors. Each pen is different, and each side might look different, so we have photographed each pen as well as its other side to give you a full idea of what it will look like. We don't want customers to be complaining because the pens don't look like the example shown! We have gone thru considerable effort to photograph each pen, so please refer to the photos below and select based on color and letter. Select pen from the pull down menu.
Nib You have a choice of nibs. The pen is fitted with a German screw-in nib unit made by JoWo in its standard configuration. We offer this nib set-up with steel JoWo nibs. The base price is for the steel nibs, and you'll see the additional amounts in the pulldown menu for the other options:
- polished steel or gold tone nibs
- nib sizes in XF, Fine, Medium, Broad, 1.1mm and 1.5mm.
