Product Name Fahrney’s Signatures II made by Retro 51, this is the second of three pen designs featuring signatures from the Declaration of Independence.
Manufacturer and Year Retro 51, the company is in the USA but it uses Schmidt nibs (from Germany) and the rest of the components are manufactured in Taiwan -- 2015 .
Length 5-1/2", this is a longer pen than the earlier Fahrney's exclusives.
Filling System Takes international style cartridges and converters. Two unused short cartridges can be found in the barrel. Standard converters do fit.
Color The pen is primarily stonewashed pewter with antique brass trim. The signatures are acid etched into the pewter. The section is plastic.
Nib Broad steel nib, very smooth. It is marked Schmidt Broad.
Condition Near Mint condition. The pen looks unused and the signatures are clear. The antique brass has tarnished and is now much closer to black than the bright brass the material likely started as. With polishing the pen could be made to look exactly as it did when produced. The imprints are easy to read. It ships in special edition packaging with paperwork.
