Product Name The Rival
Manufacturer and Year Marked "Rival" and "New York." We're guessing it was made in the 1930s. One of the pens retailed by Horace. M. Smith, a New York stationer and dip pen maker, the Rival was probably made by D. W. Lapham for Smith.

Filling System Eye dropper. Tested and it works well, with no leaks.
Color Black chased hard rubber.
Nib Huge #6 FLEXIBLE FINE .... full flex with very little pressure required. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent with hardly any discoloration and only a few light marks. No cracks or personalization.
