Nib FINE Steel nib, marked on end of barrel by a sticker and indicated on top piece of cap.
Condition Excellent condition, in plastic Rotring box and outer cardboard box. No dents or dings. This is classic Rotring, an industrial-looking pen with a scientific aura. There are a few shinier spots on the matte surface, and some of the edges and high contact areas have places where the anodized coating has worn away and the silver color underneath peeks through. The knurling on the grip and on the top piece of the cap is fully intact. The red writing and band are perfect. The imprints are clear. The outer cardboard sleeve is present, but has tears in several of the corners.
These pens are famous for developing cracks near the step down at the end of the barrel, and we can confirm this pen does not have that flaw.
