Product Description
Type Discontinued rollerball pen from a well-known German brand
Product Name Jazz
Manufacturer and Year Rotring (Germany) - c. early 2000s (Rotring discontinued this model around 2004, and the date on the guarantee booklet is April 2003)
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Takes the Schmidt 812x long capless rollerball refill (not the short "P" one!). A compatible refill is installed. The pen extends and retracts by clicking the top. The Jazz also features a "Safety and Convenience Clip", allowing you to retract the tip by pressing the clip ("safety" here refers to your shirt or clothing material - if the clip is open the tip won't stay extended. Even a single sheet of paper makes this feature work!)
Color Graphite - dark "gunmetal" type finish. The knock, clip, and cone are all shiny chrome.
Condition Near Mint in Box condition, with paperwork. The box has a "Dutch door" feature, where the upper half can open separately from the full top. The outer cardboard box is slightly scuffed, but otherwise everything is perfect. No scratches, chips, or dents.
