Filling System: S T Dupont ballpoint refills are required for the pen (they appear similar to Cross pen refills, but the Cross refills do not fit). Monteverde does make a refill that fits these older S T Dupont ballpoint pens. A working refill is installed in the pen. The mechanical pencil takes 0.7mm leads.
Color: Black with gold trim. Both pieces have serial numbers stamped on the sides of the clips. The pen has 58EHN04. The pencil's serial number is 56AET99.
Condition: Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a super slim, very shiny and supremely elegant ballpoint and mechanical pencil set. The caps and barrels have some small marks in the lacquered surface - they're not chips or scratches, just some slight texture that shows up under magnification. The trim on both pieces (including cones, clips, cap bands, and cap rings) have light microscratching. The imprints on both pieces as well as serial numbers are clear.
