Filling System: S T Dupont ballpoint refills are required for the pen (they appear similar to Cross pen refills, but the Cross refills do not fit. Monteverde does make a refill that fits these older S T Dupont ballpoint pens). A working refill is installed in the pen. The mechanical pencil takes 0.7mm leads.
Color: Brown sparkle (dark brown with rust colored sparkles that create a glow on the brown surface) and gold trim. Both pieces have serials numbers stamped on the sides of the clips. The pen has 551AD79. The pencil's serial number is 551AD76.
Condition: Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a super slim, very shiny and sparkly, and supremely elegant ballpoint and mechanical pencil set. The caps and barrels look fantastic. The trim on both pieces (including cones, clips, cap bands, and cap rings) have light microscratching. The imprints on both pieces as well as serial numbers are clear.
