Product Description
Type Non-working Cutaway Demonstrator Fountain Pen (part of the feed is cut away, which will cause unstoppable leaking if you tried to install a cartridge or converter)
Product Name Classique. This is possibly a salesman's demonstrator.
Manufacturer and Year S.T. Dupont, France -- Retired Model.
Length 5-1/2"
Color Black lacquer with gold-plated trim.
Nib No nib is installed, just the feed.
Condition Excellent condition, in box with standard-model paperwork. There aren't any spots that show plating wear and the imprints are very clear still. There are some microscratches on the pen. Ships in S.T. Dupont box. There are three cutaway sections on the barrel of the pen, and one for the cap that extends nearly the whole cap length. They were done in a V shape, extending nearly to the center of the pen, including the pen's feed and a cartridge! Cool effect, because you can see all of the internal parts of the pen, but since one of those cuts goes through the feed, the ink flow won't be controlled.
