Filling System Takes older S.T. Dupont cartridges and converters, or Parker style cartridges and converters. To access the converter, you need to unscrew the short section, which can be a little tricky because it's hard to get a grip on and possibly messy if the pen is inked. In order to start the section unscrewing, you put the cap on but don't push it on all the way so that it snaps, then turn it and the section will start to unscrew, and you can finish unscrewing it with your fingers.
Color Burgundy Chinese lacquer with gold-colored trim. The burgundy color is complex with lovely mottling (see cap photo). The serial number 59FFST6 is on the clip.
Nib BROAD 18k nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny, beautifully and richly colored pen that is straight and slim. The cap and barrel have light microscratching. The gold trim all has light to moderate microscratching. The imprints are clear.
