Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name La Plume Ultime
Manufacturer and Year S.T. Dupont, France -- 1980s
Length 5-1/2"
Filling System Takes older S.T. Dupont cartridges and converters or Parker style cartridges and converters. A Parker converter is installed. To access the converter, you need to unscrew the short section, which can be a little tricky because it's hard to get a grip on. In order to start the section unscrewing, you put the cap on but don't push it on all the way so that it snaps, then turn it and the section will start to unscrew, and you can finish unscrewing it with your fingers.
Color Silver with gold-colored trim, and a lengthwise lined, or "Godron" pattern on the cap and barrel. There are no hallmarks, so we don't believe that this is solid sterling silver, however it does tarnish so we think it is silver plated. The serial number 55LNA10 is on the clip.
Nib MEDIUM 18k nib.
Condition Excellent + condition. There aren't any spots that show plating wear and the imprints are very clear. There's some light handwear and polishing marks, as well as patina/tarnish on the surface of the pen.
