Product Name Montparnasse series. This is the mid-size ballpoint & pencil; there is a larger size.

Length The ballpoint pen is 5-5/16" long, and the mechanical pencil is 5-3/8". The 1/16" difference is due to the pencil's lead sleeve poking out of the cone.
Filling System The ballpoint pen takes ST Dupont screw-in refills. A working refill is installed. (These are similar in style to Cross refills, but Cross refills do not fit. These refills are still available online, and Monteverde also makes a compatible refill. Dupont also has ballpoints that use Parker style refills, and they will not fit, so make sure you get the right ones!). The pencil takes 0.7mm leads.
Color Gold-plated with a lined (fluted) pattern. The clips have a stripe of black enamel on the face. The ballpoint pen has the serial number 5E5FE60 stamped on the side of the clip. The pencil is stamped with the serial number 54LAR91.
Condition Excellent + condition for both pieces. This is a shiny, refined, beautifully designed pen and mechanical pencil set. The caps and barrels have light scratching and handwear visible under magnification. The enamel stripes on the clips look great, with no significant scratching or chips. No brassing or plating wear on the nose cones.
