Product Name Montparnasse. This is the smaller of the two Montparnasse ballpoints.
Manufacturer and Year S T Dupont, Paris -- late 1980s.
Length 5-3/8"
Color Silver plated with a barleycorn guilloche pattern, and gold plated trim. There are no hallmarks, so it's probably not solid sterling. We're guessing it is silver-plated or palladium. There is a serial number 57GHH25 stamped on the left side of the clip.
Refill Uses an S T Dupont ballpoint refill, which is a threaded refill similar to Cross (though a Cross refill is not compatible). A medium blue one is installed. Monteverde's T13 ballpoint refill will also work. A good refill is installed, and we will also include an extra refill.
Condition Excellent condition. The grooves have some patina in them, giving the pen an antiqued appearance. The nose cone has light scratching and polishing marks, and also some tarnish just above the small gold-plated tip. There is some tarnishing on the cap top piece near the clip, and also on the middle decorative band. The imprints are clear.
