Nib Naginata Medium-Fine (N-MF) 21k nib. We're not sure who exactly did the nib grind, whether it was done prior to the death of the senior Nagahara.
The Naginata Togi is a specialty nib developed at Sailor. It is similar to an architect grind, with a wider cross-stroke and narrow downstroke. The line width also varies depending on the angle at which you hold the pen - thinner when held perpendicular to the paper, and wider when held at a lower angle. It does take some practice to master, so it's not for everyone.
Condition Near mint condition in box. As far as we can tell, the pen has never been inked. There is some light microscratching on both the barrel and cap. All of the trim looks fantastic, with only a few light microscratches, and no brassing or plating wear. The pen ships in a Sailor box, with paperwork, but we don't think this is the original box.
