Type Pocket Fountain Pen
Product Name Unknown, these are generally called Pocket Pens. It's very similar in look to the Pilot and Platinum pocket pens.
Manufacturer and Year Sailor, Japan. We're guessing it was made in the 1960s or 1970s, based on clip style.
Length 4-11/16" capped, 5-7/8" posted.
Filling System Sailor cartridges are required. No converters are available for these pocket models (the modern Sailor mini converters do not fit, we've tried). We will include a cartridge.
Color Dark red with gold trim. (Red lacquer over metal.).
Nib FINE gold plated nib. Very smooth. It is marked "F-1" on the nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. We believe this pen has never been inked. This is a dark red, shiny pen that has a beautiful glowing red cap. The section has light scratching with some long, thin scratches caused by capping. The short barrel has a few light scratches. The long, lovely cap has light scratching mainly toward the top. The stylish cap band and the clip have a few light scratches and dots of plating wear. The imprints is clear.
