Color Blue with gold plated trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE 14k Peter Pan nib writes smoothly and has good tipping material. There's a small divot on the bottom of the nib which you can see in the photo below, but it is not a crack and will not affect ink flow or writing. The pen is so small it's very hard to write with, and we did struggle with railroading during our writing sample. This nib is what we would describe as full flex, with line variation from fine to double broad, and a nice springy feel. But everyone's standards of flex are different, so please refer to our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. It appears to be a little discolored to a slightly more greenish blue than it once was, but it's hard to tell because there's no part of the plastic that seems to be uneffected. There's just a tiny bit of plating wear on the corner of the gold top piece which the ring top connects to. There are a few small scratches on the cap (see photos), and minor wear on the barrel, but still the pen is looking beautiful and charming, and it's working marvelously.
