Product Description
Type | Fountain pen and mechanical pencil in Sheaffer box |
Product Name |
Stylist 202 (see this PenHero reference for a great article on this nib and a similar model.) |
Manufacturer and Year | Sheaffer, USA. Made starting in 1966. They did away with the "S" logo in 1969, so this is somewhere in between those years. |
Length | Pen 5-1/2", Pencil 5-3/16" |
Filling System | The fountain pen takes Sheaffer style refills or a converter. It will be shipped with a modern piston converter. The pencil takes .9mm lead, and extends via the traditional twist-method. |
Color | Black plastic barrels with chrome caps and trim. |
Nib | The nib is medium, made of steel, and when turned upside-down it gives a fine line. |
Condition | Near mint condition, in original box. There's hardly a sign of use on either the pen or the pencil, just a few tiny microscratches. The original chalk mark is still completely intact on both barrels (see photos). It's a beautiful set. The original tan colored Sheaffer box is in very good condition with one small mark. |
