Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Marked 444 on the sticker, but we think it's better described as a 444X because it has a gold plated/filled clip and the 14k nib. It's similar to the Stylist pens, though it lacks the long slender clip. Please note that the model number refers to the brushed chrome finish, and you'll find a variety of pens with the 444 number including pens from the Imperial line with inlaid nibs.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA - this model was made in the 1970s
Length Fountain Pen 5 7/16"
Filling System The fountain pen takes Sheaffer style refills or a converter. Modern piston converter is installed.
Color Brushed chrome cap and barrel with gold trim.
Nib Fine 14k short version of the Triumph nib, (though Sheaffer never called these later conical nibs by that name).
