Color Burgundy body and cap. Gold plated trim, including a 1/4" wide cap band. Black ribbed section.
Nib MEDIUM 14k #5 nib, marked M2.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is an elegant, slender pen in a classic color. The barrel has light scratching. There is a short deep scratch near the end of the blind cap, but the knurling pattern is clean. The cap has some moderate scratches or bite marks near the top of the cap. There is a line of scratches on the cap, about 3/4" long, near the cap band. There is brassing along the top edge of the cap band. The clip has a few tiny scratches about halfway between the open end and the beginning of the "Sheaffer's" imprint. The barrel imprint is somewhat faded, but still readable, and there's a "PL" below the imprint , but we have no idea what it signifies.
