Filling System Snorkel filler. We've restored it with a new sac, point gasket, and O-ring. It's working perfectly.
Color Burtundy body and cap with gold plated trim and a 1/4" cap band.
Nib EXTRA-FINE 14k #5 nib. It is labeled X2 which means extra-fine, single-tone 14k #5 nib. It is correct for the Admiral model. It's smooth and firm with nice tipping material and has a little spring but not much line variation.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a classically styled fountain pen, with lots of shine, and in a great color. The barrel has light to moderate scratching. The cap has moderate with some heavy scratching. The cap band has moderate microscratching with a few little dots of plating wear. The clip has quite a few small, deep scratch marks and a dot or two of plating wear. The imprints are clear.
