Product Name Balance 350, full length and slender.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1936-42, this clip was introduced in 1935, and the color was introduced in 1936. While the clip was only used on Lifetime pens for one year, it continued to be used on non-Lifetime pens into the 1940s.
Length 5-1/2 inches.
Filling System Vac-filler. We've fully restored it and it's working very well.
Color Golden brown striated celluloid cap and barrel with gold-plated trim and the flat ball humped clip.
Nib FINE gold colored Sheaffer #3 nib, firm and smooth.
Condition Very nice condition. No cracks. This is a long, slim classically designed pen in a nice color. Moderate scratching all over. The blind cap has quite a few bite marks. Cap also has toothmarks/dents/scars. The cap band has polishing marks and one area of brassing on the bottom edge. The clip has some plating wear on the ball. The imprints are clear.
