Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA - circa 1934-42 (with the flat ball humped style clip which Sheaffer used on non-Lifetime pens into the 1940s).
Length Barely over 4-3/4".
Filling System Vac-fill system. We've fully restored the filling system with new seals and it's working perfectly.
Color Brown striated celluloid with gold plated trim, a single thin cap band, and the flattened ball style clip which was introduced in 1934 or '35. There's a sort of transparent window in the pattern on either side of the barrel so you can see the ink level (see photos).
Nib FINE gold Sheaffer's #3 nib. It's smooth with nice tipping material, and quite firm.
Condition Excellent condition with a few very light scratches on the cap and barrel, and on the trim. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or real plating wear, and no personalization. The ink-viewing panes on the barrel is very clear and clean. It's fully restored and working well.
