Filling System The pen portion is a lever filler that has been restored with a new sac. It's working well. The pencil portion takes "thick" or .046" leads. 1.1mm leads do work. The lead extends and retracts via a twist mechanism and works well. A packet of leads will be included.
Color Black and pearl celluloid with gold filled trim. It has the second version of the long humped clip.
Nib Fine 14k nib marked 5-30.
Condition Excellent condition for this unique and prettily colored pen/pencil combo. The "pearl" areas of the color pattern have fairly consistently mellowed to a light pearlized caramel. The barrel has light scratching and marks caused by the cap lip. The cap has more moderate scratching especially near the top. There are some small marks that could be bite marks. The cap lip has a a few very short hairlines that have not opened up enough to qualify as cracks, but you should exercise caution and avoid posting the cap. The lever looks nice with just a small line of pitting at the top. The clip has plating wear on the ball end but otherwise is quite lovely. The cap band has some small dots of plating wear and light scratching but the gold is mostly intact. The imprints and nice and clear.
