Color Black and pearl celluloid with gold plated trim. The pearl has discolored in some spots to an amber/caramel color
Nib FINE gold Lifetime nib with serial number 3151315.
Condition Very nice condition with no dents or dings. This is a long bullet shaped pen with excellent, mellowed coloring and with good shine. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip as well as moderate to heavy scratching, including some deep scratch marks near the end of the barrel. The lever has moderate microscratching and a blotch of pitting along the top edge. The cap has light to moderate scratching with some crackled surface and thin vein-like cracks mid-cap (see horizontal photo below). The cap lip has short 1/8" hairline cracks all around that have darkened. The cap band has plating wear along the lower edge. The white dot has mellowed to a yellow color. The ringtop has a dent on the very top, a few dots of pitting, and some plating wear. The ring itself looks good. The imprints are clear.
