Condition Very nice condition for this beautifully, richly colored pen that is shiny with some pearlescence on the marbling. (We rate it "very nice" instead of "excellent" due to the cap lip crack described.) The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and light scratching. The barrel is also personalized with the name "JOHN ELLIOT". The lever has some scratching and polishing marks. The cap also has scratching. The cap lip has a visible crack from the lip to the cap band, as well as marks of fragility where there are short tiny cracks under the surface; we have included a closeup photo of the crack. This pen should not be posted, unless you don't mind the crack getting worse. The cap band has light scratching. The clip has brassing and some plating wear, especially along the upper edge and around the perimeter of the ball. The white dot is perfect. The imprints are crystal clear.
