Type Vintage lever filling oversized fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Lifetime Balance, no number. This is the largest version, the fat oversized model.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA - circa 1935-42 (it has the "radius" style clip).
Length 5-1/2".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black with gold plated trim, a white dot, and a 1/8" cap band.
Nib EXTRA FINE two-tone 14k gold Sheaffer's Lifetime nib with a serial number. It's smooth with nice tipping material remaining. The masking is a little worn in some spots, with a tiny dent near its base (this does not affect it's writing at all).
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks, chips, dings, or personalization. There's are a few small spots of brassing on the edges of the trim, and the clip has a tiny bend in the middle. There are a few tiny marks and very light scratches, but this pen is really clean overall. Fully restored and working well.
