Type Beautiful oversize fountain pen ... this version has what they call the "short quill" detachable end. Sometimes people think this has to do with phone dialing, but there's no evidence to support this, though it could be removed to convert the pen to a disk model with a taper.

Nib Fine nib. Large 14k Lifetime nib has great tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. Light to moderate scratching on the body. There is brassing and plating wear on the top of the clip and the clip ball, as well as on the top face. The cap band has light scratching and several spots of brassing. The lever bar has some touches of brassing on the pivot end. The detachable tail has some surface crazing, but is in good shape. No cracks or chips.
