Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- 1930-31 (the long humped clip was phased out in 1931 and the color was introduced in 1930).
Length 5-1/2"and quite stout.
Filling System Lever filler - we've restored it with a new sac and it's working well.
Color Black and pearl with a 1/8" cap band. Black pearl is a pattern of black and pearlized marble. Gold plated trim and white dot. It has a long humped clip.
Nib FINE gold Sheaffer Lifetime nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large-sized pen in a great color pattern. The color between the cap and barrel is inconsistent -- the barrel color on the pearl areas has darkened. The barrel has lines caused by the cap lip and light to moderate scratching. There are light marks at the end of the barrel. The cap looks excellent. The cap band has some plating wear around the edges. The clip and white dot are perfect. the imprints are clear.
