Type Lever filling vintage fountain pen
Product Name Sheaffer Lifetime (Balance series). Unusual variation with white dot in the middle of the cap, in the same location as the military clip pens. Thought by some to be a factory error, though a few are known to exist.

Filling System Lever filler, working perfectly with a brand new sac.
Color Black body and cap with gold plated trim. There is a white dot on the back side of the cap (opposite side from the clip). There is a clear amber viewing chamber on the feed.
Nib Gold, fine Lifetime nib.
Condition Excellent condition, with light handwear. The trim (clip, ring, and lever) have very light microscratching, perhaps from polishing. . The cap has light microscratching, with a more significant scratch at the left of the top of the clip and a cluster of "dot marks" to the left of the white dot on the back of the cap. The barrel has light microscratching, particularly at the end of the pen and some light bite marks at the end of the pen. The imprint is clear. The pen looks pretty and shiny.
