Filling System It takes 1.1mm (or "Thick") leads and extends lead in the traditional twist method.
Color Black and Pearl - most of the pearl sections have faded a bit and lost their pearly character, though some does remain. Gold plated trim and a long round ball humped clip.
Condition Excellent condition. There is some brassing on the ball of the clip, and a few spots where the plating has worn away. The cap band has some brassing, and the nose cone has scratching and plating wear. Both the cap and barrel have moderate scratching. The peaked top of the cap has a few nicks. The imprint is slightly worn, but still easily readable. The barrel is personalized with the name "D. E. Barrett" in small caps. It's working very well.
