Product Name Balance Pencil, standard size model. No white dot on the pencil. This bears one of the non-cataloged wide (3/8") Jeweler's bands.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA – circa 1935-40.
Length 5-5/16".
Filling System It takes .9mm leads, which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism. We'll include a small pack of these leads.
Color Carmine striated with gold plated trim, a rigid radius style clip, and a 3/8" wide line-patterned gold plated cap band with a space for engraving.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a nice-sized mechanical pencil in a lovely color pattern and with lots of shine as well as vintage styling. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The cap has subtle surface ripples to the right of the top of the clip. The cone some dots of pitting and microscratching. The wide cap band has light microscratching and there is a small bit of tarnish inside some of the lines. The clip has light microscratching. The imprints are clear.
