Product Description
Type converter
Product Name Button Converter. PenHero has an article on early Sheaffer converters. The converter was used in the Stylist pen line and some others. If you have a question about whether it will fit your pen, please send us a message as we cannot give you a refund if it has been fit into a barrel or tested with ink. We've heard that it fits some of the Stylist pens but not all, and also that it might appear to fit only to discover that the final turns of the section into the barrel actually depress the button and cause the ink to be expelled!
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer USA -- 1960s.
Length 2-1/8" ink length, .303 inches in diameter.
Filling System The converter works by pressing the button on top up to three times and waiting for the sac to fill. This activates a spring bar inside the barrel that collapses the ink sac. The button converter is very compact, allowing it for use in some pens designed as cartridge only.
Condition New Old Stock in mint condition. It has not been used and has no staining. The imprints are clear.
