Product Name Connaisseur. This was the first version of the Connaisseur, identified by the "Sheaffer" on the clip and the lack of engraving on the cap band.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA - this version was made from 1986 to '88.
Length 5-1/2" capped.
Filling System It takes Sheaffer style cartridges or converters. This version of the Connaisseur can only take the shorter squeeze converter, the longer piston converter will not fit. A working converter is included.
Color Black cap and barrel with gold plated trim.
Nib FINE 18k 750 solid gold Sheaffer's nib. It's very smooth and soft feeling with good tipping material.
Condition Very nice condition with some handwear on cap and barrel as well as scratches above threads on barrel. A few small chips in the black enamel paint on the cap band. It's working very well.
