Type Vintage fountain pen with a unique filling system similar to the Touchdown system.
Product Name Craftsman Tip-Dip. Earlier Craftsman models looked completely different and had gold nibs, but this is a later pen and more of an entry level model.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA – circa 1953 to '63.
Length 5-3/16".
Filling System This is one of the unique "Tip-Dip" filling models, a filling system that is a slight variation on the Touchdown system. We'll include instructions on its use. It has been restored and is working well.
Color Blue with a steel cap with lines around it on the lower portion and steel trim.
Nib FINE Sheaffer's F1 nib open steel nib. It's fairly smooth and quite firm.
Condition Excellent condition with some slight wear. There's some very light scratching and wear on the cap and barrel. No cracks, chips, dings, dents, plating wear, or perosnalization. The iimprint is clear and the pen is fully restored and working well. An original model and price tag is still on it, though it's a little bent and worn.
