Product Name Crest 500 mechanical pencil. This is one of the later more rounded style models, no white dot on the pencil.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA – circa 1942-50 (due to the clip style).
Length Barely under 5".
Filling System It takes 0.9mm (or "thin") leads which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism. It's working very well and we'll include a small packet of leads.
Color Golden brown striated body and cap with gold plated trim, the later style clip, a 3/8" grooved cap band, and a two tone cone.
Condition Excellent condition. There are a few some smalls cratches on the cap and barrel and a few tiny scratches and marks on the cap band and on the upper clip. No real brassing, cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. The imprint is clear and readable, the pen is working very well.
