Color Brown striated barrel (color range from nearly black to golden brown), black secction, yellowish-green see-thru window. 1/10 14k Gold filled cap and clip. The clip is engrated "G.H.E."
Nib Sheaffer's open-style 14k Lifetime nib. We judge it to be a medium. It has a serial number: 5595821
Condition Excellent condition for this handsome, shiny pen. The barrel has primarily light scratching although there is more moderate scratching toward the end. The celluloid around the white dot on the end of the barrel has a few fractures, very common for these striated Balance-shaped models. The cap has microscratching and one deeper (slightly indented) scratch mark to the right of the center of the clip and, a vertical scratch line about an inch above the bottom of the cap where it meets the barrel, and a very small ding to the left of the bottom of the clip. There's a dent on the cap band right below the "A" in USA There are capping lines on the section and the brown striated area under the section. The see-thru window is transparent. No cracks or chips. The pen is personalized "G.H.E." on the clip. Imprints are clear.
