Product Name Crest Deluxe (snorkel version) with a white dot on the cap.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA -- this has a 14k snorkel tube so it's from the first year or two of production, circa1952.
Length Just a touch over 5-1/2".
Filling System Snorkel filler. We've fully restored it with a new sac, O-ring, and point gasket, and it's working very well. We'll send instructions for using this filling system.
Color Black barrel with a gold plated cap with a pattern of stepped lines.
Nib MEDIUM (almost BROAD) 14k two-tone Triumph nib is firm and smooth with nice tipping material.
Condition Near mint condition, no cracks or chips, or plating wear. Barely any signs of usage. The pen is fully restored and working perfectly.
This pen has Sheaffer's numerical imprint (T27-44) suggesting it was one of their "tracer" pens which we have heard was used to track a specific pen thru the production process.
