Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in U.S.A. -- 1952-53, as identified by the 14k snorkel tube.
Length Fountain pen is 5-9/16" and the pencil is 5-1/16".
Filling System The fountain pen is a snorkel filler, which is working very well after we restored it with a new sac, O-ring, and point gasket. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism. It's working well and has a blue eraser beneath the cap.
Color Green bodies with the stepped line gold caps. Gold plated trim. White dots above the clip.
Nib FINE Steel (or possibly Pd Ag) Sheaffer's Triumph style nib. The nib has a slight "Waverly" upturn. Please note that this pen would have originally had a 14k Triumph nib, so this is a replacement.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box, and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny set in a classic design. The fountain pen barrel has light scratching. The stepped lined cap and clip have light microscratching and polishing marks. The white dot is perfect. The mechanical pencil has light scratching on the green barrel and light microscratching elsewhere -- it is in lovely condition. The imprints are both pieces are clear.
