Color Gold filled cap and barrel with a chased design. The chasing is interesting, almost an "interrupted" checkerboard design - one row of squares alternated with a plain row. Personalized in swirly calligraphy, "B F", on barrel. Black section.
Nib Gold #3 nib with semi-flexibility. Line variation from extra fine to medium. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny gold filled pen with an interesting surface pattern, that looks lovely and elegant. The barrel has light to moderate microscratching. The end of the barrel has some brassing and a line of plating wear along the bottom edge. The black section is excellent. The lever has moderate microscratching. The cap has light to moderate microscratching all over with a line of plating wear along the top edge. The clip has some plating wear, brassing, and scratching at the ball end. The pen has a personalization of "BF" on the barrel in swirly calligraphy. The imprint is clear.
