Condition | Excellent condition except for a few of the cracks that develop in this pattern that follow the marbled patterning. There's one crack halfway down the cap, and a tiny crack in the threads in the barrel that do not reach the edge of the barrel. We re-sacked the pen without worsening the cracks, but future restorers will need to be cautious. (see photos for these cracks). Additionally, there are two very short cracks in the lip of the cap that don't reach the cap band. The finish is in near-perfect condition, free of brassing. There are a few tiny, very light scratches in the cap and barrel, but otherwise it's very smooth and shiny. |
