Product Name Sheaffer 7-30
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer USA - early 1920s. The BCHR 7-30 was introduced in 1923 and replaced in 1927 by the Lifetime models. It was not a good selling model, as for a few dollars more you could get the Lifetime model with a lifetime guarantee, and so it is not at all common.

Nib MEDIUM-FINE Sheaffer 7-30 flexible nib. We consider this full flex, very soft feeling, with line variation from fine to double broad. The nib is marked 7-30. See writing sample in photos below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This is a large pen with deep black coloring. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip, and some heavier scratching towards the end of the barrel. The lever has plating wear on the edges. The section has some tool marks. The cap has moderate scratching all over. The cap bands have microscratching, but no plating wear or brassing. The clip has plating wear along the edges, and some brassing around the ball end. The imprints are clear.
