Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Lifetime, the early style called a "Flat Top" by collecters. This is a smaller, slim junior size flat top.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA – circa late 1920s.
Length 4-1/4".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black radite (celluloid) with gold plated trim, a narrow 1/16" cap band.
Nib FINE -- Sheaffer's Feathertouch gold nib is smooth with nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. There are some tooth marks around the top of the cap. The rest of the cap has light to moderate scratching. The clip has plating wear along the sides, and on the sides of the flat ball end. The cap band has some small touches of brassing. The barrel has some horizontal capping marks. The rest of the barrel has light to moderate scratching. The lever bar has brassing along the sides. The imprint is fairly crisp and readable, and we've restored the filling system so the pen works very well.
