Product Description
Type | Early Sheaffer mechanical pencil |
Product Name | Lifetime. |
Manufacturer and Year | Sheaffer, USA, 1920s |
Length | 5-1/8" |
Filling System | Takes 1.9 mm (approximately) lead, and extends lead via the traditional twist-method. We don't have any leads that match this size, but it sounds like there are some more stored inside. |
Color | Unmarked metal, but there are a few very small pits so we don't think it is sterling silver. Most likely silverplated. |
Condition | Very nice condition with hand wear, and a few dents. The top part that holds the eraser is bent along its edges, so it will be hard to get the piece off to access the lead storage chamber or replace the eraser (which is hard). This pencil looks really nice, and it's working great. |
