Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer USA - this early imprint dates the pen from the early 1920s.

Filling System Lever filler - working perfectly with a new sac and guaranteed for one year.
Color Mottled Red Hard Rubber. The color on this is really great - very sharp distinction between the red and black, and the color is very strong. No clip (no indication a clip was ever there).
Nib Medium Flexible Self Filling #5 nib. Almost full flex. Please see writing sample that shows the line variation - it takes only light pressure to flex the nib; we got the finest lines in the sample with no pressure at all.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a gorgeously colored pen, with minimal scratching. The lever has some brassing wear. There are some marks on the top of the nib, but these don't affect the writing performance of the pen. The imprints on the barrel are clear. The cap even has a handy imprint to tell you which way to turn to open it!
