Type New old stock Cartidge filling fountain pen and mechanical pencil set in a vintage Sheaffer box.
Product Name "Gold Pep" is marked on the barrel. It was an upscale version of the school pen line, part of the Skripsert line.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, made in USA - probably the late 1950s or early '60s.
Length The pen is 4-7/8 inches, while the pencil is 4-3/4 inches.
Filling System Intended for use with Sheaffer cartridges. The standard Sheaffer squeeze converters do not fit. We will include a cartridge. Pencil takes 0.9mm leads, and extends them via the traditional twist mechanism.
Color Grey barrels with gold colored caps and trim.
Nib MEDIUM semi-hooded gold colored nib is smooth and firm with nice tipping.
Condition New old stock, never been used or owned, in original box. They show some lesser marks from storage on their barrels and caps. The original chalk mark indicating the nib size is still clear on the pen's barrel and the original price chalk mark is on the pencil's barrel. One dot of pitting on the pen's cap.
