Product Name Sheaffer's name for this product was Grand Connaisseur. That name was reserved for the upscale Connaisseurs, the high end of the product line, and had a larger nib that the regular Connaisseurs.

Filling System Fountain pen takes Sheaffer cartridges, Sheaffer piston converter included. Ballpoint takes Sheaffer "K" style refills. A working refill is installed in the ballpoint pen.
Color Gold-plated with a lined design. Thin black line accents. White dots above the clips. Black section on the fountain pen.
Nib FINE 18K Sheaffer 1920 nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is an over-sized, shiny, golden fountain and ballpoint pen set with a classic lined pattern. The fountain pen has some light scratches on the cap and barrel. The cap band, clip and smooth end pieces have light microscratching. The ballpoint pen has just some light microscratching on the cap, barrel and trim pieces, including the clip and cap band. It appears to be barely used. The white dots are both perfect. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
