Filling System Fountain pen is cartridge/converter filler, and a working piston converter is included. Ballpoint takes a Sheaffer "K" refill. A working refill is installed.
Color Solid sterling silver body and cap in a lined design with gold plated trim and a white dot. The cap band has a thin black center band. The fountain pen has a black section.
Nib BROAD 18k 1920 Nib (two-toned). The Grand Connaisseur's nibs were larger than the regular Connaisseur.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is an over-sized, elegant fountain and ballpoint pen set that is shiny and shimmery. The fountain pen cap and barrel have moderate microscratching in the soft sterling surfaces. The cap band, clip, and two shiny and rounded end pieces have light microscratching. There is some tarnish around the white dot and the top of the clip. The ballpoint pen has moderate microscratching as well as tarnishing between many of the grooves, especially on the cap. The cap band, clip, cone, and top rounded shiny piece have light microscratching. The white dots on both pieces are excellent. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
