Product Description
Type Cartridge fill fountain pen
Product Name This is one of the "guys" pens from the "Guys and Dolls" series. This is considered to be a precursor of the No Nonsense pens, however the nib unit is different and this pen has a wide band and the White Dot.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer, USA -- 1969
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Takes Sheaffer cartridges. The Sheaffer piston and squeeze converters do not fit. They are too long. We have heard that the button converter will fit, but we have not confirmed that first hand. We will include a Sheaffer cartridge when we ship.
Color "Turned on Orange" cap and barrel with a short black section. 1/4" cap band. Gold plated trim.
Nib FINE steel nib labeled 304. 304 is a particular nib size but it is close to fine. This nib unit is smaller than the No Nonsense nib units even though the pens look similar.
Condition Very Nice condition. The pen looks very good even though it does have imperfections. There are cracks in the cap lip and a little bit of staining around the cracks and the breather holes. There is one noticeable scratch on the cap band and pitting on the clip. It works very well.
