Product Description
Type Fountain Pen with matching ballpoint and pencil
Product Name Imperial 727, according to a sticker on the FP cap. This is very similar to the Imperial 777 pens; it could be that the gold filled version was 777 and the gold electroplated version was 727.
Manufacturer and Year Sheaffer "International" - early 1970s ... intended for the international market, but we're not sure where it was produced. The box looks original, but it's not labelled Sheaffer.
Length 5-3/16" capped (FP)
Filling System Fitted with a convertor, the fountain pen also takes Sheaffer cartridges. The ballpoint has a "reminder clip" which works fine with modern Sheaffer ballpoint refills. The pencil takes .9mm lead.
Color Gold Electroplated (marked). The lined design features 4 lines alternating with a blank space. There is a rectangular space on the body where the pen can be engraved, but it is blank.
Nib 14k gold medium inlaid style nib. (The impressed "M" mark on the section disagrees with the "fine" indicated on the sticker, so it's a replacement.)
Condition Excellent used condition, with some micro scratching on the cap and body. No dents or dings. There's a little splotch of plating damage near the imprint on the ballpoint cap band.
